Position Summary
Unitrans is seeking an experienced General Worker to assist truck drivers with loading and offloading tasks, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This is a full-time opportunity for a reliable, physically fit candidate who thrives in a team environment.
Minimum Requirements

Grade 12 / Matric / NQF Level 4

Medically fit

Clean criminal record
-
Must have own reliable transport

Willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Ability to:

Walk, bend, push, pull, and lift repetitively

Handle heavy equipment and cleaning machinery

Knowledge of:

Cleaning chemicals

Proper chemical storage and disposal

Good communication & organizational skills

Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision

Able to take instruction and work effectively in a team
Key Duties & Responsibilities

Assist truck drivers with loading and offloading

Maintain cleanliness of the entire premises

Keep outside walkways clear and debris-free

Notify management of any required repairs

Maintain general hygiene and housekeeping standards

Perform ad hoc duties as instructed by the Supervisor

Ensure all safety requirements and protocols are followed
