Job Description
Sunbake Benoni is seeking a Stores Clerk with experience in transport, manufacturing, or engineering to join a busy environment. This role offers exposure to a large FMCG company with opportunities for growth.
Minimum Requirements
-
Grade 12 (formal qualification an advantage)
-
Drivers Licence
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in FMCG
-
Proficient in MS Office, including Excel
-
Syspro experience advantageous
-
Experience in a transport environment beneficial
Duties & Responsibilities
-
Manage stock levels to ensure continuous availability of parts and lubricants
-
Receive and verify orders against invoices and delivery notes
-
Track and dispense orders to and from depots, recording date/time and signatures
-
Record short/over deliveries and returned goods
-
Complete Goods Received Notes (GRNs) with proper documentation
-
Submit workflows to obtain stock numbers and bin allocations
-
Perform bi-weekly stock takes
-
Dispense parts to mechanics according to SOPs
-
Capture all stock movements in Fleet Systems daily

Obtain quotes and place orders with suppliers

Follow up daily on outstanding orders
-
Ensure zero stock variances at month-end
-
Adhere to procurement LOAs and SOPs
-
Maintain good housekeeping and follow 5S principles
-
Regulate access to stores for suppliers and employees

Ensure compliance with company regulations and safety standards

Assist with vehicle licensing and registrations
