About the Role
Uplands College, an independent co-educational school, seeks a passionate and dynamic Drama Teacher. Candidates may also apply for the Head of Culture position.
Responsibilities – Drama Teacher:

Teach Drama with emphasis on IEB curriculum experience (preferred).

Plan and organise hands-on activities for student participation.
-
Participate in extra-curricular programmes.
-
Incorporate technology and creative teaching styles.
-
Direct/manage large-scale school productions.
Additional Responsibilities – Head of Culture (Optional):

Develop and oversee all cultural aspects of the school outside academic time.

Direct and assist with performances and exhibitions.

Manage culture-related administrative requirements, tours, budgets, and events.
Requirements:
-
Suitable professional teaching qualifications.
-
Experience in physical theatre, musical theatre, vocal, and performance work.
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
-
Commitment to professional development and flexibility to work outside school hours.
