Job Summary
Management and monitoring of risk management systems within Scientific Services to ensure the protection of Rand Water assets and personnel.
Minimum Requirements

B.Tech in Health & Safety Management
-
SAMTRAC or equivalent qualification
-
Root Cause Analysis Technique (RCAT)
-
Valid driver’s license
Primary Duties
-
Conduct SHE induction for contractors and new Rand Water employees
-
Monitor contractor compliance on-site
-
Coordinate and report on SHE Representatives’ monthly inspections
-
Deliver SHE awareness training to employees
-
Conduct quarterly internal audits
-
Monitor compliance with legal and other requirements
-
Manage waste collection and disposal from the site
-
Oversee CCTV and access control systems
-
Complete a project as assigned by the Risk Control Coordinator
Knowledge

Familiarity with Health, Safety & Environmental legislation
-
Basic understanding of statistical software
-
Knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and ISO 9001 standards
