Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Mathematics Teacher for the Senior Phase (Grades 7–9) to join our team in January 2026. This is a full-time teaching position that involves working closely with learners requiring additional academic and emotional support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Mathematics to Grade 7–9 learners

  • Apply differentiated instruction strategies to meet diverse learning needs

  • Collaborate with teaching staff to align goals and strategies

  • Participate in school life and uphold the school’s values and ethos


Minimum Requirements:

  • B.Ed or equivalent teaching qualification with specialisation in Mathematics

  • Experience teaching Grades 7–9 Mathematics (Senior Phase)

  • Proven ability to support learners with barriers to learning

  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans

  • SACE registration (or proof of application)

  • South African citizen

  • Clear criminal clearance certificate


Recommended / Advantageous:

  • Experience teaching in an ISASA school or with the IEB curriculum

  • Knowledge and/or experience in remedial education or support
