Requirements

Grade 12 plus a 3-year Diploma/Degree in Geographic Information Sciences (GISc), Geomatics, or equivalent.

Hands-on experience in ESRI ArcGIS software.
-
Computer literacy (MS Office packages).
-
Valid driver’s license.
Additional Criteria:
-
Must be South African citizens.
-
Aged between 18 – 35 years.
-
Unemployed and not previously part of an internship programme.
-
Willing to sign an internship agreement.
Key Responsibilities
-
Assist in spatial data collection and capturing (field and digitizing).

Data cleansing and manipulation.
-
Map production.
-
Spatial analysis.
