The Phakamile Mabija Apprenticeship Programme offers unemployed South African youth hands-on training and practical skills in key trades. Successful candidates will gain valuable workplace experience while working toward a Red Seal qualification in one of the following trades:

Welding

Fitting and Turning
-
Boilermaking
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Age Group: 18–35 years
Academic Requirements per Trade:

Boilermaking: N2 with passed Engineering Maths, Engineering Science, Drawings, and Boilermaking Trade Theory

Fitting and Turning: N2 with passed Engineering Maths, Engineering Science, Drawings, and Fitting & Turning Trade Theory

Welding: NQF Level 4 with passed Engineering Maths, Engineering Science, Drawings, and Platers Trade Theory

Refrigeration: N2 with passed Engineering Maths, Engineering Science, Drawings, and Electrical Trade Theory
