🏢 About the Role:
Thorburn is hiring Grade C Security Officers to protect assets, personnel, and operations in the motor industry sector. You’ll report to the Security Manager and ensure on-site safety, compliance, and professional conduct at all times.
✅ Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and control access to premises.

Conduct patrols and surveillance.

Enforce security procedures and respond to incidents.

Write clear incident and occurrence reports.

Maintain a professional customer service presence.

🎓 Minimum Qualifications:

PSIRA Grade C (Valid & Current) – Required

Matric (Grade 12) – Required

Experience in motor industry or manufacturing security – Advantageous

Knowledge of CCTV, access control, and alarms – Preferred

Firearm competency for business use – Advantageous

Driver’s license – Advantageous (site-specific)
