📚 Programme Overview:
This is a Competency-Based Modular Training (CBMT) Apprenticeship, combining:

On-the-job training (OJT) at Lindsay Saker VW Alberton

Theoretical training at Motus Technical Training Academy (MTTA)

Learnership contract applies under merSETA and MIBCO wage structure
👨🔧 Duration:

4-year contract (Levels 1–4)
📅 Training Structure:

5 days of classroom training every 5 weeks at MTTA
-
Online learning via CDX (includes interactive tutorials, quizzes, and exercises)

Computer-based testing, practical exams, and competency assessments
-
Portfolio of Evidence (PoE) must be completed per CBMT standards
✅ Key Responsibilities:

Train alongside a qualified motor mechanic
-
Perform maintenance, repairs, and inspections
-
Apply theoretical knowledge to practical work
-
Record and compile evidence of competency for portfolio
-
Progress through levels based on assessments and PoE
-
Demonstrate customer care and teamwork during all tasks
🎓 Minimum Requirements:
To qualify, applicants must have:

Matric with Mathematics & Physical Science
(OR N2 with Mathematics, Engineering Science & English – 50% pass minimum) -
Driver’s License
