Position Overview
United Herzlia Schools is a prestigious independent Jewish Day School in Cape Town. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Intermediate Phase Teacher to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English and Mathematics at the Intermediate Phase level and will play an integral part in delivering high-quality education within a supportive and energetic environment.
Key Responsibilities

Teach English and Mathematics to Intermediate Phase learners.

Implement the CAPS curriculum and provide differentiated teaching.

Incorporate technology effectively into teaching practices.

Participate in the extramural programme; coaching netball and swimming will be advantageous.
Key Requirements/Competencies/Skills
-
Qualified Intermediate Phase teacher and registered with SACE.

Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in English and Mathematics at the Intermediate Phase.

In-depth knowledge of the Intermediate Phase curriculum and CAPS.

Familiarity with the Singapore Maths programme (advantageous).

Experience teaching pupils on an educational support programme.

Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic, energetic team.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
