Position Overview
Cedarwood School is seeking a Grade 5 Teacher to join their Preparatory School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching all Grade 5 subjects according to the CAPS curriculum, adapting lessons to meet individual learner needs, and contributing positively to the school’s ethos, culture, and values.
Requirements

Able to teach all Grade 5 subjects (CAPS)

Capable of differentiating teaching methods for individual learner needs

Minimum 5 years teaching experience, preferably in a remedial school

Fully versed in Grades 4–6 CAPS curricula

Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)

Permanent SACE Registration

Police Clearance & Sexual Offenders Clearance Certificate

Fully computer literate (MS Office)

Ability to manage self independently, work under pressure, and meet deadlines

Strong time management, communication, and project management skills

Team player with a growth mindset and attention to detail
