Position Overview
Mitchell House is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and innovative teacher for Grades 4–7. The successful candidate will integrate 21st-century skills, differentiated teaching, and technology into the classroom while contributing to the school’s extracurricular and cultural programs.
Key Responsibilities

Teach across multiple grades and learning areas

Integrate 21st-century skills and innovative teaching tools

Focus on differentiated instruction to meet individual learner needs

Full participation in school life, including extracurricular activities (culture, sports, etc.)

Effective planning, organisation, and use of technology (Google Suite and integrated learning platforms)

Uphold the school’s ethos, values, and professional standards
Requirements

SACE registration with an appropriate university degree and professional teaching qualification (preferably specialising in learner support, remedial teaching, or special education)

Police clearance certificate and proof of no registration on the Child Protection Register (CPR) or National Register of Sex Offenders (NRSO)

Minimum 3 years teaching experience advantageous

Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written

Patience, empathy, and proactive problem-solving skills

Passion for helping learners reach their full potential
