Minimum Requirements
Applicants must have:

A teaching degree and/or diploma with SACE registration
-
At least 3 years of teaching experience in an ECD / Foundation Phase setting
-
A willingness to support the Catholic, Marist ethos of the school
-
The ability to contribute to the school’s extra-curricular programme
Required Competencies
Suitable candidates should:

Be computer literate and demonstrate creative use of IT in a primary school setting
-
Have exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
-
Show passion for Early Childhood Development / Foundation Phase teaching
-
Demonstrate strong planning, organisation, and attention to detail
-
Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team
Major Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be expected to:

Create and maintain a future-focused, engaging learning environment

Assess and document student development across academic, social, and emotional areas

Manage student behaviour effectively through clear expectations

Follow termly/annual plans and provide feedback for adjustments as needed
