Job Summary

The Support Assistant will produce high-quality, accurate work based on established standards and procedures. The role focuses on consistency, attention to detail, and delivering tasks within defined service levels. This position is ideal for someone looking to develop into a valued technical expert in the financial services or life assurance industry.


Responsibilities

  • Upload and follow up on queries including premiums, claims, debit orders, changes of broker/beneficiary, amendments, and more

  • Capture applications within 4 hours of receipt, maintaining 95% accuracy

  • Monitor incompletes and service requests, communicating outstanding requirements

  • Provide administrative support to Life Specialists and intermediaries

  • Generate quotations and statements of benefits for intermediaries

  • Assist in organising broker workshops

  • Take ownership of service level standards and ensure consistent achievement


Requirements

  • Matric/Grade 12

  • At least 2 years’ experience in the Financial Services or Life Assurance industry in an administrative role

  • Basic knowledge of the Life Assurance or Financial Services industry

  • Computer literate (MS Office, Internet, Outlook, Excel)

  • Conscientious, careful, client-service oriented, and target-driven
