Job Summary
PPS is looking for a Graduate Intern in Actuarial Services to assist in analyzing risk evaluation data, performing actuarial analyses, and supporting product development. This internship offers exposure to actuarial work across PPS insurance products and collaboration with internal teams and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with ensuring data integrity for valuation work and experience investigations

Support regular actuarial investigations, including sickness, mortality, and surplus analysis

Assist with the preparation of valuator, statutory, QRT, and ASISA returns
-
Provide actuarial support to Product Development and broader business functions

Analyze PPS data to support product development and business decisions

Compile management reports and participate in special actuarial investigations
Requirements
Education:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science

Postgraduate degree in Actuarial Science preferred

Progress in actuarial exams with at least 4 CTs
Skills & Knowledge:

Knowledge of actuarial principles

Strong Excel skills
-
SQL skills preferred

Proficiency in MS Office
