About the Role
St Paulus seeks to appoint a full-time, highly organised, professional, and dynamic PA to the Principal. The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative, logistical, and communication support while upholding the Catholic ethos of the school.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
-
Relevant Diploma/Degree in Administration, Office Management, HR, or related field.
-
At least 3 years’ experience as a PA, Executive Assistant, or in a senior administrative role.
-
Prior experience in a school environment advantageous.
Key Skills & Competencies

Advanced ICT skills (MS Office & Google Workspace).

Excellent organisational & time management skills.
-
Strong verbal & written communication (English & Afrikaans).
-
Professional interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise at all levels.

Discretion, confidentiality, and integrity.
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a proactive admin team.

Problem-solving and proactive anticipation of needs.

Knowledge of HR administration (advantageous).

Practicing Catholic or strong understanding of Catholicism.

Valid Criminal Clearance Certificate.
Key Responsibilities
-
Manage the Principal’s diary, meetings, and communications.
-
Act as the first point of contact for staff, parents, and external stakeholders.
-
Prepare agendas, minutes, reports, and correspondence.

Coordinate school events, Board meetings, and assemblies.
-
Provide administrative HR support.
-
Assist with Board governance and maintain statutory records.

Ensure efficient operation of the Principal’s office and support strategic initiatives.

Handle sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.
