About the Role
Orion College is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team. This department provides an integrated service to learners in the primary school and works closely with teachers and parents to support each learner’s individual needs.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic, collaborative, and high-quality therapy department. The position is available immediately.
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Registration with the HPCSA (current).

Fluent in English (spoken & written).
-
Good time management skills.
-
Valid Police Clearance.
-
Availability for orientation and handover as soon as possible.
-
Experience in schools or with primary school-aged children (advantageous).
-
Knowledge or training in Sensory Integration (advantageous).
Key Responsibilities
-
Treat approximately 40 children per week in individual and group settings.
-
Conduct assessments and compile detailed reports.
-
Work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team (MDT).
-
Attend and contribute to Panel Meetings with staff and parents.
-
Maintain accurate record keeping (HPCSA & school standards).
-
Plan and deliver weekly treatment sessions.
-
Contribute towards Individualised Education Plans (IEPs).

Ensure compliance with CPD requirements.
