Chris Hani District Municipality invites South African unemployed graduates residing within its jurisdiction to apply for the Rural Roads Asset Management Systems (RRAMS) Internship Programme 2025. This initiative provides graduates with workplace exposure and equips them with job readiness skills while supporting the implementation of the RRAMS project.
Internship Opportunity: Rural Roads Asset Management Systems (RRAMS) Programme
Number of Positions: 5 graduates
Duration: 2 years
Stipend: R8,000 per month
Requirements

Matric / Grade 12
-
National Diploma in Civil Engineering or relevant qualification with Transportation as a major

Certified copies of qualifications and academic records

Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Age between 18 and 35 years

Understanding of GIS applications
-
Knowledge of transport systems, roads, and road network classification

Ability to assist in the implementation of the RRAMS project (coordination, planning, and administration)

Proof of residence within Chris Hani District Municipality (stamped and signed by Ward Councillor)

Applicants who have previously participated in an internship programme within government will not be considered
