Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Education (Foundation Phase) / PGCE or equivalent NQF Level
-
At least 3 years’ experience at management level

Full-time Foundation Phase teaching experience
-
SACE registered

Extensive knowledge of the CAPS Curriculum (Foundation Phase)

Understanding of Department of Education procedures and expectations

Strong grasp of educational best practice

Ability to implement and manage academic policy and procedure effectively

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with staff, parents, and learners

Willingness to be involved in all aspects of school life

Key Responsibilities

Provide effective leadership to Foundation Phase academic staff

Serve as part of the School’s Executive Management Team

Manage Foundation Phase operations, budgets, and infrastructure

Promote and support teachers’ professional development

Ensure learner wellness and maintain a safe teaching and learning environment

Promote and uphold the ethos, mission, and vision of the College
