Job Summary
Rallim Modern Learning Environment, a private school in Cape Town, seeks a Grade 12 CAT & Life Orientation Educator. The ideal candidate will teach CAPS-aligned Computer Applications Technology and Life Orientation, integrate technology into lessons, and contribute to the school community through innovative, holistic education practices.
Key Responsibilities

Teach Grade 12 CAT & Life Orientation in alignment with CAPS and school standards

Design engaging lesson plans and assessments promoting critical thinking, practical application, and life skills

Prepare learners for National Senior Certificate examinations

Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning

Participate in extra-curricular activities, staff development, and pastoral care

Collaborate with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and learner support
Minimum Requirements
-
Recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed. or PGCE) with specialization in CAT or related field

Proven experience teaching Grade 12 CAT & Life Orientation at CAPS level

Excellent knowledge of NSC curriculum and assessment standards

Strong IT proficiency; ability to integrate technology into lessons

Effective classroom management and communication skills

Full SACE registration

Passion for learner development, innovation, and holistic education
Advantages
