Location: Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital, Rondebosch
Closing Date: 06 October 2025

Salary: R228 321 per annum


Requirements

Educational Qualification:

  • Senior Certificate (or equivalent)

Experience:

  • Appropriate administrative experience

Competencies (Knowledge / Skills):

  • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)

  • Ability to produce and organize formal documents and spreadsheets

  • Manage emails, responses, and electronic calendars

  • Excellent interpersonal, time management, and filing skills

  • Planning, organizing, and executing office responsibilities

  • Strong initiative, prioritization, precision, and ability to work independently

  • Minute-taking skills


Duties

  • Provide high-quality administrative and secretarial support to the Medical Manager’s office

  • Manage professional communications via email, telephone, and in-person

  • Take minutes at meetings

  • Process paperwork and information accurately and on time for internal and external stakeholders

  • Perform administrative functions to support the Medical Manager’s office and clinical projects

  • Maintain electronic and hard copy documentary registry
