Requirements
Educational Qualification:

Senior Certificate (or equivalent) with relevant experience/competencies aligned to the Key Performance Areas (KPAs) of the post
Experience:
-
Knowledge and experience in Supply Chain Management and Warehouse Management
Inherent Requirements:

Ability to lift and move heavy boxes and stock
-
Valid driver’s licence
Competencies (Knowledge / Skills):
-
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Sound communication, organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills

Knowledge of Warehouse Management environment and LOGIS / Syspro systems
-
Understanding of financial administration, PFMA, National Treasury Regulations, and Provincial Instructions

Practical knowledge of LOGIS, ESL, Electronic Procurement Solutions (EPS), and Microsoft Office

Aptitude for working with warehouse stock, stakeholders, financial figures, and stock balancing
Duties
-
Prepare and capture documentation (Log1’s & issue vouchers) for the Warehouse Management team
-
Ensure effective control over warehouse stock
-
Timeously deliver stock to departments, theatres, and clinics safely and cost-effectively
-
Conduct regular warehouse item spot checks and replenishment
-
Adhere to all prescripts and departmental policies
-
Support Supervisor and Manager in warehouse operations
-
Capture issues, receipts, donations, disposals, etc. and request dues-out reports
-
Apply warehouse stock principles (FIFO / LIFO)
-
Handle telephonic and written enquiries
