Minimum Requirement:

Basic numeracy and literacy
Experience:

Appropriate general hospital cleaning experience
Inherent Requirements:

Ability to perform physical tasks and operate heavy-duty cleaning and household equipment

Willingness to work shifts on weekends, public holidays, day and night duty, and overtime when required
-
Willingness to rotate across different departments according to operational needs
Competencies (Knowledge / Skills):

Good interpersonal skills

Knowledge of correct methods of handling and disposal of refuse/waste products

Adherence to policy and cleaning practices
Duties
-
Perform cleaning duties including sweeping, dusting, mopping, scrubbing, polishing, refuse handling, and maintaining general hygiene

Clean and ensure safe-keeping of machinery
-
Adhere to occupational health and safety policies
-
Assist supervisor with general housekeeping duties such as control of cleaning and household equipment, care of linen, and serving patient meals
