Applicants should meet the following requirements:

A bachelor’s degree (B-Consumers Science or B-Consumers Studies) and registration with SACE.

Specialisation in Hospitality Studies with experience teaching at FET level (Grades 10–12).
-
Familiarity with the IEB curriculum will be an advantage.
-
Minimum 2 years’ experience in housekeeping and kitchen management is compulsory.

Experience with stock control, ordering, and receiving.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Oversee the smooth operation of the kitchen.
-
Ensure food quality and safety.
-
Inventory Management: Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs (inventory of kitchen and school supplies).

Maintain a high level of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.

Maintain and care for the suite.
-
Ensure sanitation and safety standards in the kitchen.
-
Show high levels of integrity, honesty, and friendliness.
-
Ability to fulfil occasional overtime responsibilities, including hosting functions and fundraising.

Knowledge and assistance with Health and Safety Requirements.
-
Teach Hospitality Studies to Grades 10–12.
-
Prepare students thoroughly for internal and external assessments.
-
Maintain high academic standards while fostering creativity and critical thinking.

Collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging teaching strategies.
