Job Description
Trend spotting is your game! You thrive on researching the hottest fashion trends and keeping up with the latest celebrities, bloggers, influencers, and designers. Your design skills and research ability influence the unique look and feel of various brands.
Working closely with the Buyer, you will ensure that consumers receive the trendiest products each season.
This position is based at our Head Office in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities

Research international and local product trends and adapt them for the South African market.

Assist Buyers in building ranges that reflect new and exciting, yet commercial, colour palettes, fabrics, and key looks.

Manage specific areas of design while collaborating on ad hoc team design projects.

Potentially attend international Trade Fairs and visit global fashion capitals to source upcoming trend inspiration for the SA market.
Qualifications & Experience

Tertiary qualification in Fashion Design or related field.

Strong knowledge of fabric and garment construction.

Graphic design knowledge (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) is an advantage for product development.
