Position Details
Oakhill seeks to appoint a vibrant and energetic Afrikaans First Additional Language Teacher (Grades 8–12) in the College to join its dynamic academic team.
Minimum Requirements

Proven academic record with appropriate teaching qualifications and experience.

Experience teaching Afrikaans FAL at Grade 8–12 level (Matric marking advantageous).

Valid SACE accreditation.

Passion for teaching Afrikaans with excellent subject knowledge.

Ability to maintain high academic standards and implement interventions when needed.

Skilled in handling diverse classroom needs and fostering critical thinking.

Innovative in using technology and varied teaching methods to enhance learning.

Strong organisational and administrative skills.

Ability to work collaboratively within an academic team.

Experience in creating meaningful and challenging assessments.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and staff.
