Requirements

Minimum Qualification: Grade 12 certificate.

Additional Qualification: Three-year National Diploma (NQF Level 6, 360 credits) in a related field is an added advantage.

Experience: No prior experience required.

Knowledge of public service legislation, prescripts, and regulations

Library and information science matters

Legal procedures and processes; knowledge of law subjects and legal phrases

Clerical duties and data capturing

Computer literacy (MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams)

Office administration and legislative framework governing Public Service

Note: Shortlisted candidates will undertake a pre-entry practical exercise to assess technical and generic suitability.
Duties
-
Conduct legal research for the Regional Court President / Chief Magistrate.
-
Compile statistics and assist with case flow management.
-
Provide support to the Regional Court Registrar and members of the public.

Provide general administrative support as requested by the Court Manager and Supervisor.
