Phyllis Jowell School is seeking a highly motivated Foundation Phase teacher to join their dynamic and creative team. The ideal candidate will be an energetic, organized, and inspirational educator, passionate about teaching and providing quality education to young learners.
Minimum Requirements:

Foundation Phase qualification.

Previous teaching experience (essential).

Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Computer literacy with proficiency in Google Platform and the ability to integrate IT in the classroom.

Open to implementing progressive educational philosophies and an international curriculum.

Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, and fluency in Afrikaans.

Strong classroom management skills and proven ability to differentiate learning.

SACE registration.

Clearances: Police, Sexual Offences, and Child Protection.
The Position Includes:

Teaching all learning areas in the Foundation Phase.

Working hours: 7:45 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday.

Weekly staff meetings on Mondays from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM.

Running an extracurricular activity one afternoon a week from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Attendance at Parent/Teacher meetings as required.
