Nova Pioneer is seeking an exceptional Intermediate Phase Teacher to join their Ruimsig Primary School in January 2026. Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with learning designers to design impactful lessons.

Deliver engaging and inquiry-based lessons, integrating technology to enhance learning.

Coach and model teaching practices for Apprentice Teachers.

Infuse passion and excitement into lessons to inspire student engagement.

Set and communicate rigorous academic goals for students and provide meaningful feedback.

Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary.

Attend weekly feedback meetings with Deans and learning designers to improve teaching practices.
-
Actively participate in professional growth opportunities, including team meetings, coaching sessions, and organizational learning.

Communicate regularly with parents through email, phone, and parent-teacher conferences.
-
Contribute to co-curricular programming for at least one activity per term.

Participate in collaborative teams and committees, including some supervision and extracurricular duties.
Required Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed.) or Bachelor’s degree with Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) – Intermediate Phase.

SACE registration (please provide registration number and certificate in application).

Classroom experience teaching Mathematics in the Intermediate Phase.

Understanding of or experience with the Cambridge curriculum (advantageous).

Ability to independently lead a classroom.
