Tsebo Facilities Solutions is seeking a Pool Technician to ensure the proper maintenance and safe water conditions of the swimming pools at Sun City. The role requires maintaining water quality through daily checks and chemical adjustments, ensuring a safe and clean swimming environment in accordance with the Master Service Agreement.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Delivery:

Water Quality Maintenance:
-
Check and maintain pool water levels and clarity.
-
Test water using strip test kits, record results, and report findings to the Waste Water Treatment Laboratory.

Monitor and adjust chlorine and acid levels, ensuring proper functioning of dosing pumps.

Equipment Maintenance:
-
Clean and maintain the leaf traps and ensure proper sealing after cleaning.
-
Check and record the stock levels of chlorine chips and acid.
-
Ensure all tools, test kits, and equipment are kept in good working condition.
-
Proactively log maintenance issues with the TFS Helpdesk and handle reactive and preventative tasks.

Keep pool areas and storage spaces clean and clear at all times.

Adhere to OHS Act requirements for all tasks.

Ensure proper handling and disposal of empty chemical containers.

Qualifications & Experience:

Matric (essential).
-
Relevant Post-Matric Qualification (advantageous).

Minimum 3 years’ experience maintaining commercial swimming pools.

Familiarity with the practical application of work procedures and processes in pool maintenance.
