About the Learnership:
Cementation Africa Training Academy invites suitably qualified candidates referred by a Cementation Africa employee to apply for the Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Learnership (NQF Level 2).
This programme equips learners with essential knowledge of workplace health, safety, and environmental practices, enabling them to function safely, solve safety issues, and develop within the HSE field.
Learners will gain skills to:

Identify and evaluate occupational safety, health, and environmental risks

Perform essential safety measurements and functions

Promote a culture of health and safety in the workplace

Prepare for career progression in HSE specialisations
Minimum Requirements:
✅ Grade 10 or 11 (submit stamped report card from school) – Grade 12 advantageous
✅ Must be currently unemployed
✅ South African citizen
✅ Good written and verbal English skills
✅ Medically fit to work in underground mining environments
✅ No criminal record
✅ Female candidates must not be pregnant
✅ Willing to undergo alcohol and substance testing
✅ Able to travel to Carltonville Training Academy every second week at own cost
✅ Must not be registered for any other learnership programme
