Newberry House Montessori School is expanding with a new campus at Spier, just outside Stellenbosch, and we are excited to offer an opportunity for a Pre-Primary Montessori Assistant for our 3–6-year-old environment.
Position Purpose/Summary:

Education: Support the Pre-Primary Guide in delivering authentic Montessori education, aligned with AMI standards

Environment: Assist in maintaining a well-prepared indoor and outdoor Montessori environment

Experience: Contribute to facilitating Newberry’s earth stewardship and Montessori sports programmes

Hours: 07:30 – 15:30
Requirements:

Qualifications: A recognised ECD qualification (Montessori preferred)

Experience: Experience working with 3-6-year-olds (Montessori experience preferred)

Compliance: SACE registration and valid police clearance

Montessori: Commitment to continual growth in applying authentic Montessori principles

Skills: Growth mindset, adaptability, excellent interpersonal, communication, and administrative skills
