Basic Literacy or Grade 10.
Grade 12 will be an added advantage.
Valid Driver’s Licence (added advantage).
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (must be bilingual).
Ability to follow and execute given instructions.
Good physical health and basic skills for physical work.
Hard-working and self-disciplined.
1-year relevant experience as a General Worker/Cleaner within Local Government or a similar environment.
Candidates must reside within the jurisdiction of Midvaal Local Municipality.

Cleaning of offices using cleaning materials, vacuum cleaners, brooms, cloths, and brushes.
Washing office windows and floors to maintain cleanliness and hygiene.
Cleaning and maintaining gardens and outside areas:
- Cutting grass using a lawn mower.
- Picking up litter to ensure grounds are neat and presentable.
Perform any other related ad hoc tasks as required by management or supervisor.

Preference will be given to Vaal Marina residents.

💰 R158,844 – R174,012 per annum
(Level 13 of a Grade 4 Local Authority)
Total Package (including benefits): R293,981.92 per annum

The municipality may reimburse travel costs for candidates traveling over 400km for positions on levels 1–4.
