Position Overview

Reporting to the Head of Advancement, the Marketing Manager will lead the development and implementation of comprehensive marketing strategies that enhance the school’s visibility, brand reputation, and student recruitment.

This position requires strategic thinking, creativity, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Marketing & Brand Management
  • Develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to boost visibility and strengthen brand reputation.

  • Serve as the College’s brand ambassador, ensuring consistency in messaging and visuals.

  • Support the College’s strategic goals through creative campaigns and storytelling.

Advertising & Media Relations
  • Manage advertising across print, digital, radio, and outdoor platforms.

  • Liaise with agencies, media partners, and suppliers for maximum brand exposure.

  • Coordinate press releases and media coverage for key events.

Digital Marketing & Social Media
  • Oversee the College’s social media, website, and online presence.

  • Create engaging multimedia content highlighting school life and achievements.

Event Marketing & Community Engagement
  • Plan and execute targeted marketing campaigns for College events.

  • Capture event highlights through photography and videography.

  • Manage event booking platforms and community partnerships.

Content Creation
  • Produce high-quality marketing collateral (brochures, advertisements, digital content).

  • Maintain content calendars for all communication channels.

Analytics & Reporting
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, engagement, and website traffic.

  • Provide reports and actionable insights to improve strategy.

Collaboration & Support
  • Work across departments to support student enrolment and major events.

  • Contribute to a creative and solutions-driven team culture.


Minimum Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or related field.

  • 3+ years’ experience in a marketing role (private school sector experience advantageous).

  • Strong skills in:

    • Digital marketing, analytics, and content creation

    • Event management and stakeholder engagement

    • Brand strategy and project management

  • Experience managing suppliers, agencies, and budgets.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

  • Innovative, organised, and able to meet deadlines.

  • Willingness to work evenings and weekends for school events.
