Role Overview
Broadacres Academy is seeking a passionate and capable Afrikaans teacher with integrity and enthusiasm for the language. The teacher will:

Inspire learners to become confident communicators, deep readers, and thoughtful writers.

Achieve excellent academic outcomes in Afrikaans.

Contribute to the school’s language and culture initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
-
Deliver effective Afrikaans lessons for Grades 7–12 (Second Language).

Ensure consistent learner growth and strong Afrikaans results.

Foster engaged, motivated learners who appreciate Afrikaans as a living language.

Positively contribute to school culture, professional collaboration, and extracurricular activities.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Recognised tertiary teaching qualification (relevant phase).
-
SACE registration required.
-
Minimum 2 years teaching experience in Afrikaans (IEB experience advantageous).

Native Afrikaans fluency.
