Job Overview
ADvTECH is seeking a Business Studies teacher to deliver future-focused education in a flexible, inspiring, and challenging learning environment. The role involves planning, delivering, and assessing academic programmes while supporting students’ emotional, social, and intellectual wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver an engaging and challenging Business Studies curriculum for Senior Phase / FET students

Assess and report on student progress and achievements

Manage student behaviour and support positive classroom culture

Act as a brand ambassador for the school

Maintain accurate administration and ensure health & safety standards

Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider community
Qualifications & Experience
-
Degree (NQF Level 7) + PGCE or B.Ed (Senior Phase/FET)

Specialized degree for subject teaching, if applicable
-
SACE certification & police clearance
-
2–5 years teaching experience; specialist subject teaching advantageous

Digital literacy and First Aid certification
