Professional Experience & Educational Expertise

  • CAPS Curriculum Mastery (Grades 4–6): Deep understanding of the CAPS curriculum with the ability to support and guide teachers in its effective implementation.

  • Innovative Teaching Methods: Skilled in applying and mentoring diverse instructional strategies to enhance learner engagement and accessibility.

  • Differentiated Instruction: Proficient in adapting teaching to meet individual learner needs and coaching staff in inclusive practices.

  • Data-Informed Practice: Experienced in analysing academic outcomes and compiling reports to inform teaching strategies and school improvement.

  • Individual Support: Knowledgeable in developing and implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and supporting learners with academic challenges.

  • Restorative Discipline: Applies positive, restorative approaches to discipline, supporting pupils and staff through emotional dysregulation with empathy and structure.

Please note: This is a teaching position.


Minimum Requirements

  • Remedial Education Experience: Minimum 5 years in a remedial school setting, supporting diverse learner needs.

  • Language Proficiency: Fluent in English (spoken, written, and reading).

  • Professional Credentials: Permanent SACE registration; valid Police Clearance and Sexual Offenders Clearance Certificates.

  • Digital Competence: Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident in integrating technology into teaching and administration.
