Position Overview
Cornwall Hill College is seeking a passionate and qualified Grade 4 Class Teacher to join its Intermediate Phase team in a permanent capacity. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in education, embrace collaboration, and support the Christian ethos and values of the school.
In accordance with Employment Equity requirements, preference may be given to suitably qualified candidates from designated groups.
Key Responsibilities

Teach a Grade 4 class in the Intermediate Phase.

Use English as the language of learning and teaching effectively.

Develop and deliver curricula that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.

Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through innovative teaching methods.

Collaborate with grade and phase teachers for aligned planning and teaching.

Serve as a class register teacher.

Contribute to the co-curricular sporting programme as part of professional responsibility.

Promote close teamwork and a collegial working environment.
Essential Requirements

A recognised teaching qualification and current SACE registration.

Strong command of English (spoken and written).

Alignment with the Christian values and ethos of the College.

Excellent interpersonal and emotional intelligence.

Proficient in using IT for teaching and administration.

Willingness to engage in continuous professional development.
