Position Overview
Parklands College invites applications for a Secondary Faculty Afrikaans FAL Educator to join the team in January 2026. The ideal candidate will be passionate about language education, technology integration, and learner engagement in a dynamic, future-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver the Afrikaans FAL curriculum effectively.

Teach Afrikaans as an Additional Language at Grade 12 level.

Integrate Apple and Google technologies in teaching and learning.

Contribute actively to the co-curricular programme.

Maintain high professional and ethical standards.
Requirements
-
Minimum of three years’ experience teaching Afrikaans FAL (Grade 12).

Experience using Apple Technologies and new media platforms.

SACE registration (or proof of application).

Police clearance certificates:

Criminal Clearance Register

Child Protection Register

National Register for Sex Offenders (proof of application)

South African citizen or permanent resident.
