Position Overview
ISCT invites applications for a Part-Time Design & Technology (D&T) Teacher with the ability to also teach Business Studies. The successful candidate will nurture innovation, creativity, and problem-solving skills through engaging and hands-on learning experiences.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging Cambridge Lower Secondary, IGCSE, and AS Design & Technology lessons.

Teach Business Studies (advantageous but not required).

Foster innovation, creativity, and practical problem-solving through project-based learning.

Safely manage and maintain technical equipment (e.g. hand tools, sewing machines) according to safety standards.

Design effective assessments and track learner progress.

Collaborate with colleagues, students, and parents to support the school’s academic mission.

Participate actively in the co-curricular programme and broader school community.
Requirements
-
Recognised teaching qualification and SACE registration.

Proven experience teaching Design & Technology (Business Studies an advantage).

Knowledge of the Cambridge IGCSE and AS/A-Level curriculum preferred.

Proficiency in the use and maintenance of technical workshop equipment.

Technologically adept with Google Workspace and digital learning tools.

Strong classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.

Commitment to continuous professional development and collaborative teamwork.

Passionate about STEAM education and innovative learning approaches.
