About the Bursary:
The Limpopo Office of the Premier, in partnership with ETDPSETA, invites unemployed youth from Limpopo to apply for the fully funded Chinese Bursary Programme 2026. Successful candidates will study a four-year bachelor’s degree in China, with tuition, accommodation, meals, stipend, and international flights fully covered.


Fields of Study:

  • Bachelor of Engineering – Data Science & Big Data Technology (Ref: TDP/DSBDT/2025)

  • Bachelor of Science – Mathematics & Applied Mathematics (Ref: ETDP/MAM/2025)

  • Bachelor of Engineering – New Energy Power Generation Engineering Technology (Ref: ETDP/NEPG/2025)


Minimum Requirements:

  • Passed Mathematics and Physical Science with at least 60% in Grade 12

  • Overall average of 60% or higher in Grade 12

  • Age 30 years or younger

  • Unemployed and not currently studying

  • South African citizen residing in Limpopo Province

  • No criminal record

  • Preference to social grant recipients (proof required)

  • Grade 12 completed from 2022 onward


Documents Required:

  • Motivation letter (max 2 pages) with chosen qualification reference number

  • Certified Grade 12 Certificate

  • Statement of Results

  • Certified South African ID

  • Proof of residence (not older than 3 months)

All documents must be uploaded as a single file on the Limpopo eRecruitment system.
