📚 POSITION OVERVIEW

As a Mathematics Teacher, you will:

  • Inspire students to explore mathematical thinking.

🧠 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

🔹 Teaching & Learning

  • Deliver rigorous lessons aligned with student needs and the Cambridge curriculum.

  • Plan, assess, and track student progress.

  • Use varied and stimulating teaching methods.

  • Promote curiosity, resilience, and academic excellence.

🔹 Planning & Curriculum

  • Design differentiated lesson plans and materials.

  • Support curriculum development and departmental planning.

  • Align resources with school-wide goals.

🔹 Co-Curricular Leadership

  • Lead one co-curricular activity to promote holistic student development.

🔹 Student Advising & Support

  • Mentor up to 12 students on academic, personal, and social development.

  • Support individual education plans and behavioral standards.

  • Liaise with the Student Success Team and parents as needed.

🔹 Professional Growth

  • Engage in continuous professional development.

  • Participate in performance reviews and contribute to school improvement initiatives.


✅ MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree and a teaching qualification

  • Minimum 3 years of mathematics teaching experience

  • Experience with Cambridge curriculum

  • Teaching students aged 16–18

Preferred:

  • Experience in international education

  • Exposure to multilingual classrooms
