Applewood Preparatory School is seeking an innovative, passionate Music Teacher to join their team. This is a part-time permanent position.
Responsibilities:

Teach 12 half-hour lessons per week

Co-ordinate private Music teachers
-
Offer private Music tuition on an instrument (parents billed privately to supplement base salary)

Assist the choirmaster with weekly choir practice

Organise and direct the annual Culture Evening in September
Requirements:

Official teacher’s qualification
-
Ability to play piano/keyboard and/or another instrument
-
Full SACE registration
-
Police clearance, National Sex Offenders Register, and Child Protection Register clearance
Personal Qualities:

Team player with a strong work ethic and initiative
-
Able to inspire children with a love for Music and performance
-
Supportive of the school’s Christian ethos

1 January 2026
