Position: Executive Personal Assistant to the Executive Head

Redhill School, a leading independent institution in Johannesburg, is seeking a highly professional and experienced Executive Personal Assistant (PA) to support the Executive Head. This is a full-time role offering an opportunity to play a key part in the school’s strategic operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and protect the Executive Head’s diary, ensuring effective prioritisation.

  • Act as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including the Board of Trustees.

  • Draft, proofread, and review correspondence, reports, and presentations.

  • Prepare agendas, minutes, and documentation for Board and senior management meetings.

  • Anticipate the Executive Head’s needs and support timely decision-making.

  • Handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.

  • Oversee special projects and ensure timely completion.

  • Manage travel arrangements, events, and logistics.

  • Provide after-hours support when necessary.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Executive PA or similar role supporting senior executives.

  • Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • High level of discretion, integrity, and professionalism.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and digital collaboration tools.

  • Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and handle pressure effectively.

  • Flexibility to work beyond normal office hours.
