Faculty Coordinator – Operations (X3)

About the Role

ADvTECH’s Emeris Division is seeking to appoint three Faculty Coordinators – Operations to support the day-to-day academic administration and operations across its higher education brands — IIE Varsity College, IIE MSA, IIE Vega School, and IIE School of Hospitality & Service Management.

The successful candidates will coordinate faculty-related campus operations and ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement of academic support services, working closely with the Faculty Manager and Academic Centre of Excellence (ACE).


Key Responsibilities

Campus Faculty Relationships

  • Communicate updates on policies, procedures, and institutional plans to campuses.

  • Review and define academic operational rollout plans with the Faculty Manager.

  • Provide guidance to campus faculty to resolve operational challenges.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with campus academic and operations teams.

Academic Faculty Operations

  • Develop academic operational documentation to ensure high-quality academic experiences.

  • Coordinate with ACE, Deans, and campus teams to align academic operations.

  • Assist in the rollout of digital learning materials via the LMS.

  • Collaborate with National Office to establish and track annual academic operational plans.

  • Maintain the National Programme Assessment Schedule.

  • Track external moderation processes and ensure compliance with timelines.

  • Serve as first point of contact for faculty-related campus issues.

  • Support academic communication through Teaching & Learning and Faculty Boards.

Collaboration with the Academic Centre of Excellence (ACE)

  • Partner with Deans, Faculty Managers, and campus faculty to address academic and operational needs.

  • Promote consistency and excellence across all academic processes and campuses.


Minimum Requirements

🎓 Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) required.

  • Applicants with Matric + 5 years of academic administration/operations experience may also apply.

💼 Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years in academic administration and operations within a tertiary institution.

  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience.
