About the Role:
Join Oakhill School’s support team to provide remedial and inclusive education support for learners in Grades 1 to 7. The role focuses on offering academic assistance in literacy and numeracy, working with teachers, facilitators, parents, and individual learners to support diverse educational needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide Numeracy and Literacy support through individual and group interventions.

Develop and implement individual support plans tailored to learner needs.

Support homework, classwork, study skills, and executive functioning development.

Collaborate closely with teachers, facilitators, parents, and the school-based support team.

Use technology effectively to assist learning.

Facilitate flexible, inclusive support in a diverse learning environment.

Participate in facilitator and reading/scribe training.
Requirements:

Qualifications in academic remediation, inclusive education, or a related field.

Experience in developing and implementing support plans.

Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Skills to work flexibly with diverse learner needs.

Technology proficiency.

Clearance certificates required before employment: Criminal, Sexual Offenders, and Child Protection.
