📄 Job Overview
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Debtors Administrator to join the CJ Distribution team at their Midrand head office. This role focuses on maintaining an accurate debtors book and ensuring effective and timely debt collection for the Group.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Open and maintain customer accounts in line with SOPs.

Conduct ITC checks before customer account approvals.

Receive, process, and allocate daily customer payments.
-
Resolve customer queries and account discrepancies timeously.
-
Run and maintain weekly age analysis reports for management.
-
Communicate with customers regularly to ensure payment collection.
-
Maintain accurate master data and client information.
-
Prepare, reconcile, and review debtors accounts monthly.
-
Ensure no debt exceeds 60 days overdue.

Escalate unresolved customer complaints or disputes to management.
-
Adhere to internal Finance and SOP compliance standards.

Ensure adherence to Health & Safety policies.
✅ Minimum Requirements
Essential:

Grade 12 / Matric Certificate or relevant Accounting Qualification

1–2 years of experience in debt collection or accounts receivable

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
Advantageous:

Experience in pharmaceutical or retail debt collection environments
