About the HWSETA-Funded Apprenticeship

The Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Academy (ACRA) is inviting unemployed South African youth to apply for its HWSETA-funded Apprenticeship Project. The programme offers world-class technical training in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, leading to trade qualifications.

This fully funded project aims to uplift young people by providing them with hands-on skills and formal trade qualifications in refrigeration and air conditioning. ACRA offers training at its accredited centres located in the following provinces:

Kempton Park (Gauteng)
Pinetown (KwaZulu-Natal)
Kimberley (Northern Cape)

Qualifying Criteria

To be eligible for the apprenticeship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

South African citizen
Under 34 years of age
Reside close to one of the ACRA training centres in Kempton Park, Pinetown, or Kimberley
Grade 12 (Matric) certificate
N4 in Engineering Studies, including Mathematics and Physical Science
Unemployed (No current employment)
Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply
