REQUIREMENTS:

  • Three (3) year tertiary qualification at NQF Level 6 in Social Science, Economics, or Statistics

  • Valid driver’s license

Knowledge of:

  • Labour legislation: COIDA, SDA, SDLA, LRA, EEA, BCEA, OHSA, UIA

  • Group dynamics and project management

DUTIES:

  • Collect and collate information on provincial labour supply and demand

  • Monitor and evaluate skills gaps aligned with government intervention programs

  • Administer the provincial data warehouse for producing quality data

  • Support the provincial resource centre/library and manage procurement of new books

  • Provide provincial statistical time-series data for departmental planning

  • Manage division resources effectively
