The ADvTECH Schools Division leads the private sector in the field of education, contributing meaningfully towards the sustainable development of human capacity in South Africa.

Key Duties:

  • Provide support with educational organisation.

  • Process and maintain pupil applications, acceptances, and records (data input and manual filing).

  • Assist Examinations Officer with exams administration.

  • Perform administrative duties as required.

  • Run reception and switchboard.

  • Handle ad hoc tasks as determined by the position.

  • Type administrative and academic material.

  • Act as PencilBox assistant.

  • Manage school report administration.

  • Liaise with marketing.

  • Complete newsletters.

  • Assist with enrolment processes.

  • Maintain diaries and schedule appointments for management.

  • Organise events.

Competencies Required:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong typing, organisational, and administrative skills.

  • Accuracy under pressure.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality (essential).

  • Enthusiastic, energetic, and creative.

  • Team-oriented.

  • Computer literate (MS Office).

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office and PencilBox.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Matric or equivalent with typing skills.

  • Computer literacy (MS Office) essential.

  • A secretarial qualification would be advantageous.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ general administration experience in a similar environment.
